Astfel, \u00een cazul unui e\u0219ec al unui disc, datele pot fi recuperate de pe celelalte discuri func\u021bionale.<\/li><li><strong><strong><strong><strong>Performan\u021b\u0103 \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021bit\u0103: <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>Anumite niveluri RAID, cum ar fi RAID 0, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021besc performan\u021ba prin distribuirea datelor pe mai multe discuri. Operatiile de citire \u0219i scriere pot fi efectuate \u00een paralel pe discuri multiple, ceea ce duce la o cre\u0219tere a vitezei de transfer \u0219i a performan\u021bei generale a sistemului.<\/li><li><strong><strong>Capacitate de stocare extins\u0103: <\/strong><\/strong>Nivelurile RAID care utilizeaz\u0103 striping, (cum ar fi RAID 0 sau RAID 5) combin\u0103 capacitatea mai multor discuri \u00eentr-un singur sistem de stocare. Acest lucru permite utilizarea mai eficient\u0103 a spa\u021biului de stocare disponibil \u0219i extinderea capacit\u0103\u021bii de stocare total\u0103 a sistemului.<\/li><li><strong><strong>Timp de acces redus \u0219i \u00eenc\u0103rcare echilibrat\u0103: <\/strong><\/strong>Prin distribuirea sarcinilor de citire \u0219i scriere pe mai multe discuri, tehnologia RAID poate reduce timpul de acces la date \u0219i \u00eenc\u0103rca echilibrat resursele discurilor.
